What the client needed
What we delivered
PEC supplied and commissioned two Li-ion UPS systems as the data center grew: 500 kVA in 2016, then 1,000 kVA in 2017 — both rated for 30 minutes.
Why this project chose PEC
Floor space is scarce in a data center, so the battery had to be dense and endure many cycles, and the vendor had to be ready to expand on short notice. PEC delivered the 2016 system and the 2017 expansion on the same design.
What happened in production
Each system is rated to give the data center's critical racks 30 minutes of backup while the generators start; the two entered service in 2016 and 2017.
