Our solution
What we delivered
PEC built an 18 kW / 67 kWh Li-ion BESS that ties the PV, wind, and diesel together for off-grid running, under an MOU between PEC and King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL).
Why PEC
Why this project chose PEC
Off-grid means the control system must balance variable renewable output against generator supply without grid support — one of the trickier jobs in BESS work. PEC took it on with KMITL.
Outcome
What happened in production
The system keeps Phulanka running off-grid across solar, wind, and diesel; it has been live since June 2020.
