PTTEP S1 Energy Storage

The PTTEP S1 office wanted to use more of the solar power it already generated and keep emergency backup on site — ideally as one packaged unit it could drop in rather than build up on location.

The challenge

What the client needed

The PTTEP S1 office wanted to use more of the solar power it already generated and keep emergency backup on site — ideally as one packaged unit it could drop in rather than build up on location.

Our solution

What we delivered

PEC built a 250 kW / 1,740 kWh BESS into a 40-ft all-in-one container for Future Solar Technology, a solar company owned by PTTEP, covering both solar self-consumption and standby backup.

Why PEC

Why this project chose PEC

A containerized system depends on thorough factory integration before it ships — batteries, PCS, cooling, and controls all working as one. PEC assembled and tested that package with Italthai Engineering, then delivered it ready to connect.

Outcome

What happened in production

The container runs solar self-consumption and standby backup at the S1 office; it was commissioned in September 2023.
